If you try to count how many times you click the mouse in one day, you would get a very large number. Although it is simple, posting something on Facebook, searching for something on Google or simply launching an application involves some navigation and sometimes it may seem like it takes too long. Click.to takes all these tasks to a whole new level. It makes it possible to perform a very wide range of actions via shortcuts.

Click.to is freeware and you can set it up on your computer in no time. The process is straightforward, so you will not have to make complex settings or install additional tools.

When launching the program for the first time, a wizard will help you make the initial settings. During its steps, you can choose a number of shortcuts, called satellites, for different applications, web sites or actions. You can also choose an area of the screen, where the satellites will pop up.

Click.to will run in the background. While active, it will enhance the CTRL+C function on your keyboard. If you copy something, using this hot key, the selected satellites will pop up in the area you have specified. Clicking one of them will launch the associated application, with the copied content already in place. For example, you can select and copy a text fragment, and click on the Google satellite. This will instantly perform a Google search, in your default browser, using the selected text as keywords.

If you want to post something new on Facebook, Twitter or other social medias, you can type your message in any application, copy it and click the appropriate satellite. A dialog box will appear next to it, with the text already pasted and clicking the Post now hyperlink will immediately create a new post, containing that text.

If you hover over one of the satellites with your mouse cursor, a large menu will pop up, where you can find more shortcuts. You can also access the general settings panel from this menu. It is a tabbed window, where you can change the size of the satellites, make them pop up in a different region of the screen and more. You can also add and select new satellites in the settings panel. They will appear on the screen as well, but only if you select something related to their associated application. To make it clearer, if you add a shortcut for MS Paint, it will not show up if you copy a text fragment. However, if you copy an image file, regardless of format, the Paint satellite will appear and if you click it, the selected image will be loaded in MS Paint.

Pros

The number of applications and actions you can set up a satellite for are too many to count. It is possible to access popular web sites, applications, perform certain actions, all by simply selecting something and copying it to the clipboard.

Cons

The only drawback is the limited number of regions on the screen which you can select for the satellites, but it is nothing too serious. Thanks to Click.to's smart functions, any application is only a click away. It can be set up fast and easy and it will save you precious time.
